I liked the box set because I badly needed a comb and I also had nice (at first sight) natural bristles. But the oil fails. First, the plunger is separated from the vial, which means several puffs of even a decent amount of oil. As for the scent, I can't comment - it might be a plus for you if you're sensitive to perfumes. But Hodge Twins oil is way better - with a working drip to boot. And the oil never seemed to soak in, leaving an oily sheen on your fingers when you later touch your beard. Haven't tried the wax yet, so I can come back to this review. But in general, a pleasant price, a brush and comb (albeit plastic); Oil leaves much to be desired.
