I read the reviews to order a size up so I ordered 4 for my 2 year old. Adequate but not for long. There is no space for clothes underneath, so we only use it after swimming. Not for very long either. He doesn't even get on his knees. They definitely have to buy more than they need. I'm disappointed because he loves his robe and won't be able to wear it for long. In terms of quality, the fabric is soft and the color hasn't faded in the wash, so that's a plus. Although the fabric is not dense. It's pretty thin but seems ok. I give this robe 3 out of 5 because I don't have to guess what size to buy,
