I just got them today and will update in a few months as they fall apart but these things work right out of the box! These shoes are built like brick houses! Strong seams in the right places. The protector also seems to be quite durable. I hope this lasts for a while. I plan to use them for my daily 4.5 mile runs so time will tell. However, memory foam out of the box is like walking on clouds! Super comfortable!
