Review on Gillette Mach3 3D Men's Razor Holder with 4 Blade Refills by Brandi Mclaurin

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I have to stop trying.

I'm quite a thrifty type and distrustful of overly complex products. I usually buy my own branded products from supermarkets because they are usually just as good as big brands. (In fact, it's often made in the same factory.) And I'm always looking for simplifications in areas where I think it should be possible. But when it comes to shaving, every experiment has disappointed me. I have used Gillette Fusion 5 razors for years with blades that fit me perfectly. But they're expensive, and every now and then I think you can get an equally good shave with something simpler and cheaper. I have tried fashionable shaving kits, pharmacy brands, 3, 4 and 5 blade razors from different companies. None of these were as effective as Fusion. In this case, Revain was promoting the Gillette Mach 3 3-blade machine. Same company, improved design for an established product; Let us try it. So I did. And while it's a perfectly good razor (although the handle is too light for optimal balance), it's not as good as the Fusion. So I switch back. How to rate it? Value for money, obviously. Otherwise.

  • Positive only
Cons
