Review on 🏺 Sturdy and Spacious Ball Half-Gallon Jars with Wide Mouth - Set of 2 by Antonio Parson

I've decided to live on homemade soup this winter, but I needed a way to put all that soup in the fridge. I no longer use plastic, but I haven't had glass containers big enough for 6 liters of soup. The glass jars also had to fit in my fridge - either it had to be completely airtight or stand upright so nothing could spill (I hate cleaning out the fridge). They actually fit on our fridge door. I could use a few more, but maybe next year. I like that they hold very warm liquids (I don't put boiling liquid in them, just let them cool down a bit) and the lids close really well. It's glass so you can wash them easily (if only I had a dishwasher) and they don't take on the taste or smell of what they've been holding. If I didn't already have soup in there I would use it to keep my mulled wine (also a winter treat) cold so I can just grab a couple cups when we want to warm it up. It's just a good size and very comfortable.
