I love this product and I am very glad that I bought it. I don't use it to lift the lids of my dutch ovens as I have a special lid lifter for that. However, it is very useful for Dutch Oven Baking. The space allows you to bake without burning the floor. The first time I made bread and cakes the bottom burned even though I used the right amount of briquettes for the bottom (6). But since I've had this coaster, nothing has burned me. It's also handy for setting a hot oven on the counter (unless you've been using it for cooking, of course). I like that it can be folded for easy storage. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone!
