Review on 🔌 Egomall Portable Optical Connector - Advanced Locator by Shalom Germann

Okay so this review tells me to give stars for 'accuracy', 'value for money' and generally for 'thickness' which I have no idea how important "thickness" of the device is either like. I had no choice but to give them only one star in each of these categories. Mainly for two reasons: 1. It is VERY garbled in the description. This machine is not made much better than a child's toy and as a professional I needed a quick replacement for my "real equipment" while it was in use. This is an absolute joke and I strongly recommend NEVER using it in sensitive installations or troubleshooting efforts. It will end up costing you a lot of money due to misdiagnosed problems and/or it will cost you a lot of time. 2. As you can see from the attached photos, all packaging and instructions are in Japanese or in Chinese, who knows? Maybe Cantonese or Korean? Also, the item is exactly as I opened it. It looked like it had been used before I took it out of the box which was full of dust and bits of confetti. All in all, don't waste your time and money on this device. Do not trust its accuracy or make assumptions based on what you say. I don't take any chances, I usually give everything I buy a chance and rarely write such a long review. I am very disappointed and will be returning it immediately. (Will probably be repackaged and sold to another sucker).
