We've had this monitor for about a month now and it fits the bill. We have a small house and don't need anything special. For security reasons, I wasn't interested in a monitor with a WLAN connection. It has good picture, good sound, solid connection, security and a great price. If you don't need all the bells and whistles of a more expensive monitor, this one will certainly fit. You also get bonus lullabies, two-way audio, automatic night vision, and more. ProsSafety - First, it's closed loop for me. I like knowing the connection is secure. Pan โ The camera pans 180 degrees side to side, up and down and is silent when moving. The visibility is impressive. High quality image - the image is beautiful and clear. , day or night. Not crystal clear as advertised but still very good. night vision. The image on your phone will automatically change from day to night as the lighting in the room changes. In any case, the picture remains clear. scaling. Zooming is at the touch of a button to zoom in or out, but it does zoom in, which can be handy for checking the baby's condition. Battery life. The batteries last a long time. I like that I can carry the handset with me around the house and not have to worry about connecting it to the network. Timer. Using the timer or voice features, or simply turning the screen off can also help save battery, and these are all simple features. Two-Way Audio - I love this feature because I can hear my baby, but I also use it to communicate with my husband when he's upstairs and I'm downstairs or vice versa. Using buttons to navigate between Fn (function) options, default options, and menus can be a little tricky (you can't use intercom when Fn is on or when you're in a menu). After using the phone for a while, it becomes much easier. Temperature. Temperature measurements have never worked for us. It always shows 5-10 degrees warmer than it actually is. Lullabies - Lullabies sound great coming off the camera, but as far as I know, lullabies played through the handset are the worst part of the monitor. When choosing a lullaby, you have to be in the camera room and make sure the tube is turned all the way down, otherwise they'll sound like loud, dissonant mush. The downsides are few and I like to take advantage of nap time and when my baby sleeps at night, especially if I'm pumping in the middle of the night. I like the calm that gives me the opportunity to check on him and make sure he's okay. Sometimes I even take the monitor into the garage to keep an eye on it while it's idle while I work out. If you don't want to rob the bank but still want a great baby monitor, I definitely recommend this one.
