I decided to purchase it (at least for the time being) so that I could use it to connect to a television and then use a switch to send Internet signal from an existing wireless network to a multimedia set-top box as well as the television. Set up in the AP slider position as a "client" configuration. Everything appears to be nothing, and everything seems to work, including the fact that Internet can be accessed through the television and the set-top box as well. But it is worthwhile connecting through a TV or set-top box to your home network, also known as to the media server, in order to watch a movie from a computer. After you have watched a movie for a couple of minutes, the connection is lost, which means that Wi-Fi is turned off. As far as I can tell, this router does not support pulling huge files over Wi-Fi (between 1.6 and 3 gigabytes in size). My NETGEAR WNCE2022 serves the same functions, and it is capable of performing the task at a level 5+. Yet, there was a requirement for a different connection, and it was such a depressing experience. It's possible that I put it up incorrectly, but even if I did, I couldn't find any information on setting it up elsewhere on the internet.
