This monitor was purchased for installation in a van to monitor a single 150Ah AGM battery and a Renogy solar system. It works like a charm and gives me peace of mind that I won't drain my house battery. It tells me in amps how much load and input is happening in real time as well as how long the current load can be sustained. Setup was pretty easy. My only complaint is that the shunt, which is a solid and heavy piece of brass, has no way of mounting it and you definitely don't want it hanging around. You'll need to buy a holder - some places sell 3D printed cases - or zip ties to hold it firmly to the surface. I used heavy duty zip ties that attach to 6AWG wire and clip into my panel.
