Review on πŸ”© Complete No-Mortise Bed Rail Fittings by Will Rahman

Not strong enough for industrial equipment

They looked great when I received them. They were very easy to install and the convenience of not needing any tools to assemble the bed while moving is a great idea. I went through and installed them with no problems but the bed was very wobbly and quite squeaky which only made matters worse. with time. It held up well at first, but as soon as you started putting weight (mattress, person, two people) on it, it started to loosen. In an attempt to rectify the situation, I removed the hardware, attached and reattached liquid nails to the back. It didn't last long, it started creaking again and staggering badly. I was constantly afraid that one night the whole bed would collapse. I ended up taking them off and got some sturdy mounts that I bought from Home Depot. It was a good product with good intentions, it's just that the hardware isn't big enough to support a queen-size bed. Even with the added "dynamic load" I put on the bed, the whole thing shook and creaked like nothing else, to the point where I was constantly waiting for it to collapse. It might work if you use longer screws to hold it. The brackets are there, but they only work if all the screws are flush, so you'll need to find longer screws that perfectly fit the holes that this hardware has. Overall I would not recommend using this product but it worked well and was easy to install hence 2 stars instead of 1.
