I chose this budget audio cable as I didn't need anything fancy or expensive but I wanted a low price and previous reviews have shown it to be a decent quality cable. Unfortunately, after just a few months of intermittent use, the connection began to degrade to the point that I often hear loud static noise, either during the quiet portions of the audio or when the speakers are left on when the device is off. When I manually play with the connection it tends to go away again, but it's happening more and more often. I'm not sure if the particular cable I received is defective or if it's just poor workmanship or materials, but either way I received a bad cable and the return period has expired.
