Great fixture but horrible light
Installs quickly and easily and locks securely into socket with included screw. However, I agree with other reviewers that the light is ridiculously bright. To make matters worse, the light penetrates through the entire top of the surge protector - it's not just a green dot, it's a bright strip of light. We live with it because it's hidden behind the sofa, but we'll look for something else to use in the TV room, where the green light will be very, very annoying if we can't hide it well enough.
