Review on Sunbeam Full Size Donut Maker - FPSBDML920 by Jean Donjuan

We bought this for our 7 year old as a Christmas present. She loves it. It's easy to use, right out of the box. Donuts can be 2 1/2 inches tall and are perfect for kids. The donuts cook quickly, actually look like the box (never seen before) and taste great! We did NOT use the recipe, it came with the machine. We used boxed yellow cake mix, used 1/2 cup LESS water than the recipe calls for, and let it thicken for a few minutes (MUCH easier to pour into the machine!). The first game lasted a full 5-6 minutes, all games after that lasted maybe 3 minutes; less than 30 minutes to make 2 dozen. Nothing stuck to the machine. Make sure you place a drip tray under the unit in case you overfill the cups and spill. The first batch was a little messy. and an adult must carefully open it without touching the rest of the very hot machine PRO: small donuts, ideal for children, the machine gets and stays hot; no delay between batches non-stick surface wipes clean easily no expensive refill/machine refill mixes (check out Easy Bake Oven!) CONS: tastes good and I don't want to get fat.
