Works great, noisy but likely to require air conditioning on heat exchanger surfaces and then allows air to flow through filters and fans indoors. I ordered an adapter for my apartment sliding door and got the wrong size. The unit sold here came with a hardware that is not large enough for my 8ft sliding door. The sliding door adapter I ordered had a different diameter dehumidifier/air conditioner vent pipe, so I had to put several different parts together. In my apartment there is a bar that can be installed between the fixed side of the fixed window and the handle area. The receiver's U-adapter is located next to the sash handle so that when the rod between the fixed window is lowered through the sash windows into the handle area, the door cannot be forced open. This is necessary because the vent tube adapter will prevent the sliding door from reaching the normal trap area.
