First of all, the bottle leaked before I took it out of the shipping carton. I thought I smelled like bleach but when I was doing laundry I thought maybe I got bleach on my hands and that's what I smelled. until I sprayed this substance to clean the floor near the tray and realized that the smell was from a product leak. I'm pretty sure what I bought for almost $13 is a product made mostly of bleach. Don't waste your money either. I should have gone for the Nature's Wonder Urine Destroyer. And since the cat made a mess on the floor after using this horrible product instead of the little box, he probably didn't care about the smell any more than I did.
