My two year old loves this letter board! She’s loving singing the alphabet right now, and naming letters wherever she sees them. This is a stellar introduction to writing letters, and I can see her using this for the next couple years as her interest in letters changes. She’s mostly engaged with just looking at and naming the letters right now, but likes playing with the pen and magnet balls, and pushing them back down (which you can do one by one with your hand or many at a time by running the side of the pen over the board). Soon she’ll be paying attention to the letters and their sounds, then consonants and vowels, then writing them. I love that there’s numbers and arrows to show you which stroke to do in which succession and in which direction. The pen isn’t attached, but it fits securely in the pen slot, and it comes with an extra pen. I like that it isn’t attached actually - as a lefty I’m forever at odds with attached pens! I’m a big fan, and so is my toddler. I’ll be buying another as a gift for our next kid birthday party!
