I wanted an organizer for my earring collection and thought it would work, unfortunately although it's also meant to store studs it's just too heavy to carry getting them to stay there and I dropped a few stone objects that might break or fall apart. To hold the shelves on this shelf you need to remove the shelf from the wall. with everything on it, every time you want to write some messages on it. Very difficult, if not impossible. It's fine for hooks and a few necklaces and even rings, so it's not a bad buy, but if you have a lot of chain earrings you better look for something else to complement that.
