Review on 🔴 Pair of 15 Inch 67lb/300N Heavy Duty Gas Shock Strut Springs for Tool Box, Outdoor Cabinet, RV Bed, Floor Hatch Door, and Custom Box Lid Door - Red by Shawn Parker

I bought this for storage under the bed in my caravan R. I originally bought 100N racks but they were too flimsy to keep the lid on. Back then, last year, only 100N and 300N racks were available. I have calculated that 100N is too weak and 300N is probably too strong for a bed frame. I chose Element 100N and that helped but didn't close the lid. Just recently looked back at Revain and found them from Vepagoo with a full range from 50N to 800N and they also have 200N which is what I need. The great thing about these racks is that they have an angled mounting bracket. This is what you need for the DIY installation. I reinforced the bed frame to take the loads from these posts and also reinforced the platform cover which was made from thin plywood. I also had to move the hinge to match the counter otherwise it would move the lid sideways with every opening and closing. Great upgrade that only adds 1lb of weight for racks and additional reinforcement. Excellent quality product.
