When I plugged everything in, of course the first thing I checked was everything. I immediately noticed that the remote does not switch inputs, it only works to turn the device on and off. After a bit of research, I found out that the selector automatically detects the switched-on device and switches to the input on its own. I re-tested the device with this new information and indeed it works. This is a useful feature, but it's strange that the device itself and the remote don't allow you to manually select the input. Everything is fine in the end, but I am very confused about the button that does not work and the remote control that only works with electricity.
