That's the inherently wobbly quality you want in any piece of furniture if you want it to be lightweight, not bulky, moveable yet durable. Given that, this unit is surprisingly well designed and built, and any wobble is an integral movement rather than the inherent sloppiness you'd expect from such a cantilevered design. The welds are solid, the hardware is very good, and the overall look is solid. The only exception is that the slide-out shelf could be designed slightly differently (for more accurate specs anyway) so that it would have less play when you pull it out. The openness of the bottom works well for my purposes. The device is pretty solid and easy to maneuver, but the casters are a little clunky. I'd rather pay $10 more to have true rubber wheels with ball bearings, but overall this might be the best mass-market device available. I was so satisfied that I was able to give 5 stars based on my expectations.
