Dried blood red in the hair ornament
The color of the red rose headband is more reminiscent of "dried blood red". It is very dark and tends towards maroon. The fabric is a bit stiff and rough which probably means it's durable. This is a versatile headband (in black) that can be used as a garland around your head (even as big as mine) or as a ponytail/pouf holder. I like it although the material could be softer; 4 stars for this reason.
