This cable gives a great picture on my new Samsung 28" 4K IPS monitor. This monitor only supports 75Hz so I can't confirm that. for cables with higher stress levels 4K 144Hz or newer 8K monitors The picture was sharp and clear and there were no signs of problems with accelerated video. 1.4. So I'm curious if anyone can test it with DP 1.4 capabilities as well as a higher refresh rate. If it works with those features, I would agree that the cable is "Future Shield" as stated in another review. .The cable is attractive and I like the one with the red ends because I have a lot of cables and it helps to tell which is which. The cable is quite thick and ribbed compared to many DP and HDMI cables I own. end in so I can insert it into the vertically countersunk DP connector. The cable that came with my Samsung monitor is thinner and more versatile and also runs at 4K 74Hz with no problem. (But this cable is probably *not future proof). For a more flexible cable, I offer a flat rate, also DP 1.4, $4 cheaper and available in 10 foot lengths.
