Review on Pccooler 120mm Single Fan Moonlight Series, RGB LED Computer Case Fan - PWM PC Cooling Fan - Dual Light Loop Silent Fan/Multiple Lighting Modes for Desktop Cases (Replacement Fan for PC-3M120) by Joshua Flake

Bought this set of 3 fans on Amazon from PCCooler. Inside the box are 3 x 120mm fans, instructions in a folded booklet, 3-pin RGB controller, 3-pin RGB splitter, 4-pin 3-way fan. Splitter, 3-pin RGB adapter and 3 sets of fan screws. I also noticed that each fan has 8 anti-vibration pads, at least with these fans, vibration is not a problem. Four for each fan, of course. On the packaging itself there is a description of the fans in 6 different languages. When I first opened the box to inspect the fans for damage, I noticed that these fans have some weight. I'd say they can weigh twice your standard non-RGB fan. The time I had to play with these fans was a learning curve for me. PCCooler is my first set of RGB fans I've ever owned, but not my first LED fan. The cables were a bit of a mess, but I managed to figure out how to work with the cables. Installation is easy and I had no trouble connecting all the cables. However, if you want to connect RGB sync cable to your motherboard, please make sure your motherboard supports 3-pin RGB connector. If you don't have a suitable one, you can connect the controller via a 4-pin Molex connector. Fans on the other hand I would recommend that you have a 4 pin fan extension cable if you want to connect to a motherboard fan header or a 4 pin hub or fan controller. I also had a chance to test these fans out on how well they push air through a 3x120mm radiator at 30mm thick. Air flowed easily through the radar, and the RGB lights were bright enough to be seen through the radar. I will be making another purchase soon to have a push/pull configuration in my setup.
