I am for quality tools. And I was in the construction business for many years. This Huepar laser arm is a truly worthy tool. It's right up there with DeWalt and Bosch. This level is accurate and the green line is well defined. It has a strong solid feel. Brass inserts on the underside for attachment - quality where needed. I mounted it on a camera tripod and then directly onto a survey tripod with no problems. It has three types of power options; 1. Rechargeable lithium battery. 2. Plug the adapter directly into the outlet. So you can even use rechargeable AAs if you want. Lithium batteries last longer, so I keep alternate batteries for emergencies. A little bonus is that you can charge the lithium battery while it remains in the laser, or charge it with the included external charger. The laser works while it is charged. The laser has a battery indicator. The handling is very easy. I didn't have to read the instructions. The supplied magnetic base is very durable. It can easily support the weight of the laser on the side of a refrigerator or metal rack. I love this 3 level 360 degree laser because it is perfect for working on walls and ceilings. And floors. A laser, a tripod. Green is way better than red. I tried it outside in bright sunlight. At 30ft I could see it faintly against the house wall but like all lasers it's really impractical unless you're buying a laser detector to work outside on fences, gutters, etc. This laser has a pulsed mode, so you can buy the Huepar laser detector too. Huepar laser detector will be my next purchase. So I'll definitely review it. I'm really glad I took the risk and bought this Huepar. I hope this review helps others.
