Polish it after it arrives!
When I took it out of the packaging I was very disappointed. It looked like parts of it were plated with metal instead of solid sterling, and the plating had come loose. It could also be seen that it was very dim in some places. It turned out to be just dust or some kind of coating left over from the manufacturing process. I used the included jewelry cleaning cloth and now it shines as it should. Very good product and good guarantee.
