. Because of the height of the buttons, combined with weight, spacing, and setup, after 5 months of daily use, I went from "no pain, what is CT" to full effect, CT. I think the design of this keyboard made my condition worse and accelerated the severity with which it developed. Please note that I don't want to blame the keyboard. Because I really liked everything about this keyboard. Sound, lighting, responsiveness - this is truly a fantastic keyboard. Except ergonomic. This makes no claim to ergonomics. However, I believe that not only is this design "not ergonomic", I contend that it actually makes it "bad for you". So I feel compelled to write this review. "Well, this keyboard needs a wrist rest." "I have!" I actually tried 7 different wrist rests, but due to the height of the keyboard, it was difficult to find one high enough. I ended up making one out of a store-bought wrist rest and a towel, and while it was incredibly inconvenient to work with, the wrist rest didn't seem to help as there was something wrong with the key height and spacing. Oh, I'm a woman by the way. I have "long fingers" but I find that I often have to make strange adjustments to many things that are normally done by male measurements (thank goodness, the world is changing slowly). Red dragon do it. Keyboard for women by women. Just saying :) Anyway, I'm writing this as a warning to anyone who might consider this keyboard. Please spare yourself the pain. I mean real shooting, crippling pain. Pain that keeps you up at night and makes the day that much harder. I made so many mistakes in my life but never regretted until I bought this keyboard. Yes, it sounds a bit dramatic, but I'm not exaggerating. Programming is literally the passion of my life and now it's a painful process. Imagine your favorite item suddenly being plagued by a stupid online purchase. OK, you understand me. Buyer Warning. Otherwise great keyboard.
