Review on 🚀 Vantec UGT-PCE470-2C: High-Speed 4-Port 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 PCIe Host Card - Dual Controller, PCIe x4/x8/x16 Slot, Black/Silver by Jacob Sriubas

Product looks good and professional (software and clear instructions). However, I received two of them (original and a replacement) and none of them worked. The card shows up under "Device" but the ports don't work (Windows 10 claims there are suitable drivers for it) and finally a hard system crash (within 5 minutes). Since there were (at the time of writing this article) two customer reviews that didn't report any functionality issues, I think it might not be a quality control issue, but a compatibility issue. I'll post my hardware settings (maybe Gigabyte and Vantec don't work well together).
