This unit is large but after 1 month I replaced the filter and it was clogged with dirt so the extra surface area of this filter is a must. Most likely, it could be used for another month. I chose Pentek because they are a manufacturer with a public online presence, so unlike many generic plumbing products, there is manufacturer liability. Good value for money.
