A decent starter set with pens and nibs that are forgiving to a beginner. The nibs are of course glued to the body of the holder so they can't be swapped out, and the kit includes a variety of colors and extra ink cartridges for more writing. The downside is that I get medium-wide grip leaks almost every day, no matter how careful I am. In addition, the cost of plastic and almost disposable pens is a bit high, while professional calligrapher pens are cheaper. The book, on the other hand, is a useful little guide to getting you started with a few example fonts for beginners.
