I have a Dell Inspiron 580 which I received in 2010 and have had trouble starting over the years. I assumed it was the start button because the problem would appear for a few days and then go away for months. Then the computer died. I researched online and found that Dell had problems with the power adapter in some models in 2010 and 2011. I received this replacement power supply and it was perfect for a replacement. Same size and had all the necessary power cord connections. I had to look on youtube how to press the tabs on the computer case to release the old power supply and then pry them back to secure the replacement in place. Everything was pretty easy. It took me less than half an hour to swap out the power supply and now the computer works perfectly. Thanks to Revain for the right replacement PSU for me.
