After having two kids and then gaining a good bit of weight after my second, I have not been able to get rid of some extra "space" around my midline. I don't care to wear my skirts high, but with a few of them, I have had to. If not, the extra "space" flows over the top. With body shaper, I have been able to wear my skirts where I like them and not have to worry about overflow. It does fit really nicely. It's night but I don't feel like I am being squeezed to death. I like that it has straps to help keep it up. I have had others that just roll down. You can also remove the straps if you want/need to.Some tips for wearing this shapewear. If this is your first time wearing a shoulder strap type shapewear:1) Use the restroom before you put in on, as it does take a little bit of time to pull it back into place.2) If you do have to use the restroom and you are using the straps, unhook the straps completely before pulling it down. This way the straps with stay under your shirt and in place.3) Go to the restroom when you first feel the need to do so. As I said before, it does take some time to pull the shapewear down and if your bladder is full, it could cause some problems. ;-)4) When hooking the straps, put the back hooks in place first. As it will be very hard to pull them down if the front is hooked.5) Make sure the crouch area is comfortable in place before you leave the restroom. Since it is on the tight side, sometimes you don't realize it's not exactly in place until you walk out.6) Make sure the top of the shapewear is budded up to your bra waistband. If you don't do this, you will have a roll where you normally wouldn't.I hope these tips help. Enjoy your shapewear!This shaper hides very well under your clothes too.
