I've used many highly regarded GoPro stabilizers over the years and this is my favorite. This is the first one I've used, it uses a GoPro mount instead of an annoying clip that (like most) is difficult to remove. It is made from a mix of metal (motors) and plastic (handle). Plastic is not cheap, so the suspension is very light. I like that the GoPro is controlled using the buttons on the gimbal. It was easy to balance and connect, and the instructions were clear enough to get me started. If you're wondering why anyone would use a gimbal when the GoPro has such good IS, it's because you can reduce cropping and get better low-light stabilization by not using IS. My personal favorite use case is Standard IS and Gimbal to get SUPER smooth footage. It's worth it.
