Color of watch changed with tape

This is a beautiful watch but I have never worn it. I got home and removed all the packaging from the watch and some of the paint came off the watch on the sticky part of the packaging seal. So I just sent it back, regretting that I didn't have the opportunity to wear the watch at least once.
