At first I purchased what looked like a heavy duty aluminum bodied nearly indestructible pill splitter. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with its performance of the only task it was purchased to do. It crushed the pills instead of splitting them. Needless to say, I returned it.I then purchased the John Bee splitter as a cheaper alternative. I was thinking that since it was less than half of the price that it couldn't be worse than the overpriced garbage that I had returned.I was more than pleasantly surprised when I used the John Bee splitter as it performed in the manner that the expensive splitter should have, neatly and effortlessly splitting even extremely hard and large pills.I wholeheartedly and completely endorse this excellent product. It outperforms all of the other splitters by a wide margin.I do not yet know how it will hold up after continued use. But even if it only lasts 5 or 6 months it is still inexpensive enough that I can simply purchase another. (Though I would be very surprised if it doesn't last a year or more seeing how sturdily it is made.)I am now a customer of this pill splitter and will continue to keep one in stock as a spare.If you need a pill splitter, buy this one as you can't go wrong.
