These headphones have excellent sound: good clarity, good bass and high frequencies. As someone who makes a living from music, I value accurate sound reproduction. Too often headphones, earphones and speakers are designed to exaggerate bass and treble, causing a non-musical and annoying noise/boom syndrome. These headphones give a flat or precisely directed response with very good clarity. They're also very affordable compared to most, but still sound better than many of the much more expensive ones. It's surprising that headphones and earphones made by many of the biggest names in the industry and sold for many times the price have mediocre sound quality. Additionally, these headphones are made from premium materials and manufactured to the highest standards of craftsmanship. If you typically buy headphones that cost $200-$500 and up, compare them. You'll be surprised how good they sound and how well they compare to "expensive" alternatives. Have fun with Paul.
