The juice comes out clear but you have to use a strainer on top of the bowl to catch the juice or there will be a lot of foam and some small pieces of pulp in the juice. I think the part of the chute where the pulp comes out is too small. It gets a bit clogged with stringy vegetables like celery. Washing is easy except for this part you have to use the hard end of the brush provided to take it out (see picture). not sure what caused this). The pulp almost does not come out, but comes out with the juice. Also, I feel like the pulp should come out crushed as tiny pieces, which to me means less juice is squeezed out.
