I chose this product as I intended to use it with a boat battery. It claimed to have voltage ratings, USB charging, and a built in switch, all in a waterproof case, so I figured that would be perfect. Voltage readings are good. I took the voltage from 7V to 20V with a few stops and it read the voltage fine. Typically the device drew 20mA with no USB connected, which seemed reasonable. However, when I press the power button, it still draws 5mA. Not much, but if I have to store my boat for months, that's enough to cause problems. Such a physical switch should fully open the circuit. Another unacceptable problem is that the "waterproof" lid doesn't even fit properly and water can get in. For a product advertised for use at sea, this is unacceptable. Overall I won't even install it, it's going back to the seller.
