It's only been a few days but it seems to be working fine. I only had to unplug it and plug it back in once for it to recognize my HDMI cable. This device does NOT come with a power adapter. Keep in mind that you need a USB-C cable and a brick to power it. It took me a few minutes and a few restarts of my computer to figure it out because it kept giving me the error that the USB port was drawing too much power and the computer was disabling the port. But for the price of a docking station, I'm fine with a few hiccups.
