Review on 🔌 CELLPOWER CPUSB01: 12V to 5V MiniUSB Power Adapter for Street Guardian SG9665GC DashCam and other Mini-USB Powered Products with BDP Low Voltage Cut-Off by Ryan Maruffo

Bought this to wire my Street Guardian SGGCX2 DVR. This adapter looks much cleaner and more discreet compared to the 12V plug that comes with the dash cam. I drive a very wide full size truck. My dash cam is mounted to the right of the rear view mirror and the power source is the fuse box on the left side of the dash. The wires were neatly hidden behind the fairing and there were a few meters left. I connected the red wire to "Add Circuit" and grounded the black wire to the cargo area. I bought "Add Scheme" from my local chain of auto parts stores because the parts sold at Revain had poor fit/quality ratings. Now the DVR turns on automatically when I start the car and off when I turn off the ignition. If you plug the adapter into a fuse that is powered even when the ignition is off, the adapter's "Battery Discharge Prevention" feature should prevent your battery from draining, but I had no reason to risk that. I am very happy with this adapter and will definitely buy another one when I install a dashcam in one of my cars.
