Worked great until it wouldn’t charge my phone with it in the case

Product worked great until for whatever reason. When I plugged in the chord to chard the case and my phone. No matter which chord I would use it would charge the case but not my actual phone. I would have to giggle the chord just into the right spot to charge but if it moved a hair my phone wouldn’t charge. Thought maybe it was the chord but chords charged my phone just fine. I finally got annoyed and fed up and just swapped back to my otter box case. I only had the product for a little over a month.
