Review on Swim-Thru Rings for Water Sports by Bim Cook

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A fun activity for the backyard pool!

This was a birthday gift for my 6 year old who became a good swimmer but my 8 and 11 year olds love them too! This is our first year with an actual backyard pool and they are having a blast. They like to set up rings in different places in the tank and then swim through them all. Or line them up and create a "tunnel" that you can swim through. They're big - big enough to swim through, but small enough to sit underwater in our 36 inch deep pool. I like that they float vertically. stay in place well and fairly well, but light enough that if you get up in the middle of a dive, they'll go with you, so you don't have to worry about the kid "getting stuck" in the ring underwater. Air Pocket Design While one of the rings appears to have faded slightly from exposure to chlorine (or the sun), the remaining rings and air pockets appear to hold their color well, although we often leave them in the pool when not in use The ring has a small air pocket with a tiny pump inside to inflate it easily, which keeps the ring upright in the water. The pump reminds me of the squeaky part of a baby or squeaky toy, so it's very easy for even a baby to inflate the small air chamber, although it doesn't seem like it will take long. o let it float properly. They seem strong and durable and I expect them to last a couple of years at least! I am very happy with our purchase and would definitely recommend them to all children who love to "dive" (swim under water) in the garden. Swimming pool!
