I think it's rejections.
These hats are misprints or imperfections. The Polo logo is sewn onto the back of the cap where the label is located. So if you want to wear it, the label must scratch your forehead. I have the same hat that I bought in the store and the logo on the front and the label on the back is as it should be. Too much $$$ to waste on a rejection.
