Not much to say about this, it's Loctite, in short what I use it for: When I need to make sure something doesn't move at all Use Loctite Red 262 It requires a lot of torque and heat to remove. DO NOT use this until you know how strong it is and how to remove it. DO NOT use it for screws you intend to remove. I use Blue 243 to secure bolts on my Harley that I need/want to remove later and to attach nuts to my pistols. It's not something I plan on removing any time soon, and I want to make sure they stay in place until I need to remove them. . Violet is resistant to vibration, but easily broken with a small amount of torque.
