The humidifier didn't work at first so I wanted to return it but then I tried again and it worked! I bought 2. I found it didn't work again and just unplugged it and plugged it back in, then waited a bit, then everything was fine. Also remember to remove the plastic from the activated carbon air filter before use. I can imagine how people forget. Has multiple settings at the touch of a button. Just read the instructions. I love that the humidifier has a continuous setting or 5 second intervals so there is enough water to last the entire night. Overall, it's pretty good for a small space air purifier and humidifier in one device, and it has a sleek look with a magnetic design. I wish the cable connector was on the back, but that's just aesthetics. It's a USB plug only, so make sure you have a USB adapter or outlet. I only used distilled water and it holds around 200-250ml. In sleep mode the noise level is normal. I never use the first setting. I live in the desert so I use the second spot on my humidifier for bursts at 5 second intervals. It lasts all night. I haven't tried cleaning yet. I don't know how to change the filter. The husband immediately noticed the difference in his room and air purifier. I don't care about different lighting settings but they work and one setting has a gradual color change which can be good for a baby's night light.
