Review on MICHELIN Latitude Tour HP 215/65 R16 98H summer by Mateusz Uliasz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

French made. Size 205/70 R15, it would appear that they are high and rolled due to the profile, but prior to replacement, I drove for a week on the all-season Michelin 205/65, which is with a comparable profile, with a very similar tread pattern, and with a harder combination. But the distinction is between heaven and earth, or between an elephant and a zebra. Next to Latitude, those all-season tires are basically sports tires. The steering wheel was becoming substantially harder to turn, there was no restoring force at or near zero, and the automobile was pulling away from the road. The smoother passage of bumps was this separation's more pleasant side, nevertheless. Tires were trusted, and countless dips and fissures were ignored. Due to the side parts being integrated into a single array, the tire responds to abrupt steering with dignity and speed. Though not as easily as pure summer, smoother tires, it rides nicely and smoothly on the straight for such a soft rubber, in part because of the longitudinal main blocks in the center. Let's label light resonant, swiftly abated vibrations in the suspension following previously sharp seams as subtle faults. Additionally, there is a little bit more noise than usual. Although acceleration on the tires seems slower and heavier, the accurate trip computer's fuel consumption is unexpectedly low. Front-wheel drive minivans are heavy, like the Hyundai Trajet. Remember while reading reviews that low-profile and wide ones will highlight slightly different traits. But concurrently, it's likely that other models will show the benefits of handling better than Latitude. This tire is intended for quiet, powerful vehicles.

Pros
  • energy-intensive, uses little fuel, is comfortable on rough roads, holds, and responds effectively to forceful steering.
Cons
  • Not very strong exchange rate stability; viscous steering. It does not travel in ruts, but it puts a parasitic weight on the steering wheel.
