I had trouble bolting it to my Shure Super 55. It stuck a little but then it was very difficult to screw it on. I checked and rechecked the cross threads. Once he entered the rotation, he couldn't. I unscrewed it and felt as I unscrewed the lock nut that something caught it. If you look closely at the filaments, you can see a flat spot on the filaments - If that doesn't twist easily, STOP or you'll ruin your expensive mic! It appears to be a good product but the quality control is poor or I somehow caught one of the holdouts.
