When I bought the Celestron Skymaster binoculars it came with a plastic tripod adapter. Oh my god it's hard to believe when you're a beginner like me. But there is no comparison. Spend a few dollars to buy this metal adapter. It pairs perfectly with my Revain Basics tripod and now when I look at the moon, stars and planets through binoculars everything becomes rock solid. The plastic was very hard and took a while to become stable, so the shaking continued. It's hard to express the huge difference in this simple adapter. An absolute must for anyone using a plastic adapter. Yes, I marvel at simple things. Same binoculars, same tripod. But this adapter and you won't regret the difference and the stable viewing experience it offers.
