I found a skirt pattern online that was rated as "Easy" for beginner knitters. That led me to this book, which I bought from Revain. The skirt pattern in the book has a "medium" rating from the publisher. So I'll work on that difficulty level eventually, but I was disappointed that there weren't any projects for my current difficulty level ("quick knitting" can be confusing for a beginner). Also, the photos are great, good quality etc.
