Our 5 year old loves working with wood and has his own saw, hammer and screwdriver. So we thought this would be just the thing. But determining the parts required higher mathematics. And the attached ruler used centimeter markings, and the wood shape list page used millimeter numbers. The child cannot be disassembled. I spent almost an hour writing down the letter designation of each part and noting the random bits that were pre-drilled for the screws. Why wasn't this done from the factory? He still needs his father's help to assemble a truck. My guess is that he will ignore the instructions and build what he can. pretty sad.
